Hi,

Is there some way a pre-defined joomla account such as an article publisher can access nspro? I don't necessarily want the person managing newsletters to have access to the joomla admin console.

regards,

 Johannes

Hello Johannes.

I haven't really thought about that, but it would possibly cause some serious security issues..

I would like to hear your idea in a little more "expanded" way, and also comments from other people, too.

So, I would like to hear opinions on this one, because Johannes has a point.

Thank you

I also would find this very usefull.

I don't particularly want clients poking around the back end of their websitesand then complaining when they've broken something!!

I found a work around using a User Admin Access component, but that requires a lot of work to configure. A simple front end "admin" panel would be awesome.

Especially if you could also import / export user data too.

Thank you for your suggestion.

The issue I'm concerned about is security.

When someone is available to export subscribers from the front-end, even if he is logged in, that is a security issue.

I could possibly create a front-end admin, and there are many reasons why one would want that.

If anyone else has ideas, please post!
