Is it possible to have multiple forms with different fields on one website. For instance, I need to have a basic form on one page, but on another page, I need the form to have more fields.

Thanks for posting here.

Well, to be honest, you can't use Rapid Contact Ex to produce more than one form per site, but you can still use Rapid Contact AND Rapid Contact Ex.

You can use the Rapid Contact for the simple form, and the Ex for the advanced form.

Couldn't you just duplicated/rename the module and component and have two different instances of RapidContactEx installed at once?

Well, you can't just duplicate the component.

You can rename and create another module, as you can create multiple pages for Rapid Contact Ex, but the component is unique.

The best way to do this, I believe is to create a module parameter where one can choose which fields they want to show in this specific module. What do you think?

I realise I can only make one form per site with RC Ex.

But can I still make multiple instances of the RC module, and then in each instance change the email address, text, etc? So that every contact listed on my site can use the RC Ex module.

Keep in mind however, unless you want everybody to get a mail, to use different anti spam questions. I use this for on line direct contacting the caoch of the footbaal teams and/or leaders etc. Works like a charm to write them a simple mail on-line in "a hurry".
