I have a couple of questions. I’m trying to accomplish the
following things with Rapid Contact Ex module:
- When I
receive emails, I want them to come from the sender himself (e.g. John Doe
johndoe@example.com) and not from
the name and email I have to specify in the backend;
- Add
more fields;
- Validate
emails; your form’s validation script ignores strings lacking the @ sign;
- Change
the CSS of the fields and such;
How can I go about doing it?
Thank you. Tim |

Hello.
Thanks for posting here. Issue 1 is under development. Issue 2, please explain...
Issue 3. I will check that and tell you. Issue 4, you can check the rpx.css in directory: administrator/components/com_rapidcontactex |

Hey Chris,
Thank you for your prompt response.
1. Is this feature going to be released any time soon? If not, is there a quick hack that I can use at this time?
2. How can I create additional form fields, such as Address, City, State etc.?
Thanks for your help.

1. I hope, because I need it myself :) 2. You can create any kind of field you want with the type Textbox. You can't have a country select, yet, but you can create a Country textbox, which works very well in my case (see Contact Me menu item on top)
Thank you again |

Well, if you are posting correct emails and getting that error, you probably have an issue with your template. If you want, you can send me your template's index.php at mavrosxristoforos@gmail.com and I will figure out the problem.
Thank you again. |
