That is probably due to the email recipient, or your Joomla! mail settings.
To find your Joomla! mail settings, in the Back-end, click on Global Configurations (under menu Site).
Those settings vary from host to host, so you should probably ask them about it.
If your settings are ok, then probably the Mail Recipient that you have set is not your email.
The last and only possibility not to work if the above are correctly set, is the Mail From Email, in some very strict servers, which should be the same as in your Joomla! mail settings.
