Hello,

I have a Fixed URL that I direct the user to that is a menu article in my joomla site. I do not get the email Recipient or any of the error message functions. You can just click on the submit button without filling out anything and it goes to the URL. With Fixed URL off or on No, it works great. Should the email work with Fixed URL? If so what can I do?

Well, that is a known drawback.

It's the whole concept of the functionality that is not intended to visit that page only on correct information supplied.

That's why it's called Fixed URL (or Fixed Target URL) and not Redirect.

Why do you want to use the Fixed URL? For something to download, or just for some kind of post-contact thank you message?

Thanks for reply. I wanted to have a free pdf download of an article I wrote, and would like to have the name and email for whom ever was checking it out so I could do a follow up article. The Subject text I changed to name and the message to company. I'm not a coder, is there any way that could work with this module or any other suggestions?

Well, I guess that for having custom fields, it is way better to have Rapid Contact Ex.

That works for me. So how do I get the version with the new redirect. Do I purchase Ex and upgrade or something?
