I just checked out the Popfeed plugin and found out that it could be a welcome enhancement for the website of our sports club. It can be very useful to enable visitors to give feedback on some articles. I am not thinking of using Popfeed on every article, but only on those which are important enough for us. 

As the subject of articles vary, I want to be able to change the email address the feedback is sent to per article (in our club we have at least 5 people to deal with the feedback). I tested the code as suggested on your website ( {popfeed_mailrecipient}email@email.com{/popfeed_mailrecipient} ), but that doesn't work out. The code is published as text on the webpage. I tried changing the words "emailrecipient" by a valid emailaddress but no luch either. Do I miss something. 

When able to address the feedback to more people I'm really glad to use your plugin.

I'm so sorry - for some reason the message has been forgotten and went down the list.

The problem is simple. You write in your article:

{popfeed_email@gmail.com}something else{/popfeed_email@gmail.com}

What you need to write is the actual string:

{popfeed_emailrecipient}email@gmail.com{/popfeed_emailrecipient}

That's why it didn't work.

Sorry, but I also tried that before, but in this way it is shown as plain text, with a clickable emailaddress inbetween. Has this something to do with the Joomla version (1.5.3) I use, or the PHP version?

I tried entering the popfeedcode in the article manager in html-code as well as directly in the text-area. I even switched from Tiny editor to another editor, but same result.

Any idea? 

That's the correct way.

If you get a clickable email, then you should disable the System - Email Cloaking plugin which turns all emails to mailto: links.
