Hello, I just purchased and implemented the simple quiz component on a site I maintain. After taking the quiz I get the following error message:

"Could not instantiate mail function."

I checked my parameters and the correct email address is entered. Can you tell me how to fix this?

My system info is as follows:

php version: 5.2.12

mysql version: 4.1.14

joomla version: 1.5.22

Hello and thank you for posting here.

This message means that your Joomla Mail Settings, found in Global Configuration should be configured.

You should ask your host on what to fill those fields with.
