Hello,

We are planing to use your component on an intranet done with Joomla!

The intranet is included into an iframe, that's why we need to allow visitors to store favorites into the Joomla! intranet based site.

I guess there's no problem with that ? (I mean, can we use relatives url instead of absolutes for instance ? or maybe there should not be any problems...)

We are also using Docman, and I can't see that it is supported.

Can you do that ?

Something, I don't get, the favorites are saved for everybody, I mean, it's a public shared functionnality ?

I thought it was saved for each user...I just saw the post about that request, I have this too !

In fact, I'm wondering how can it be usefull if everybody can save and share the same favorites...

Am I missing something ?

Well, please send me a message at mavrosxristoforos@gmail.com to get the implementation for DOCman scheduled. I would appreciate a URL where DOCman is enabled to see exactly how it works.

As for My Shortlist, no, it obviously wouldn't have any sense to save favourites accessibles by everyone. The favourites are saved using cookies, for each specific visitor computer.

In the future, I also want to implement a "per-user" functionality, to save the favourites for a user and access them by different computers, too.

Okay, ut's going to be a bit long, I need to setup a demo version, because it is planned to be used in our intranet.

But as it is saved into a session, we can't use it...

We need the favorites to be stored for each user...

Hope to see it implemented soon :)

It is stored per computer, using cookies. Sessions go off when a user closes the browser.

I definitely want to implement the user-database version too.
