Hello. Thank you for posting. Honestly, there are no plans to implement a Captcha for 3 reasons: 1. Captchas are not as strong as they look. Spambots constantly become better and are not user-friendly. I am deuteranopic, which means shades of green may give me a hard time to recognize, and I have seen captchas that I cannot read. A simple but smart question is way better than a captcha, because it is very easy for users and of unreachable intelligence for the machines. 2. Captchas require APIs. APIs change all the time, and instead of adding features, I might spend too much time keeping up with any API. That way, clients get more features and I get more creative requests. 3. APIs may have bugs. Bugs might appear that I wouldn't even understand, because I do not know the code.
As for the Email not being set as the "From", is your field using the special name #User Email#? Thanks again. |
