Hello! I've installed the NS Free plugin to my joomla. The documents say to use {*newsletter_subscriber*} without the * in an article in order to use the NS plugin. I don't understand this syntax. I tried putting {newsletter_subscriber} but it just shows that text. Can you clarify how to use the plugin? Thanks! ~Rob |

Hi
I have enabled the plug in, and changed the e mail recipient to my e mail address? is this right ?
then i add{newsletter_subscriber} to the html but it still comes up as just text
what am i doing wrong?

Did you insert it in an article?
It doesn't work in any other place.

Hi,
I've just installed NS Free and I doens't work. I've tried your solutions you have told Rob before. But it still doens't work.
When I put {newsletter_subscriber} in my text it just shows the text.
Could you help? |

I'm having a similar problem. I've installed the plugin and have the words {newsletter_subscriber} and it doesn't work but I don't have it in an article which might be my problem. I've created a custom html module and put it in there. Is there anyway to get this to work? |

Well, yes. That's the problem.
If you want to use NS in a module, why don't just use the module version?

Hello. Are you using the correct version for your Joomla version? Just for information: the form is only supposed to appear in the front-end, which means you have to save the article and see it in the front-end. If it doesn't show up in the front-end, you have to make sure that: 1. The correct plugin is installed and enabled.
2. The article contains exactly {newsletter_subscriber} without tags, spans, or any HTML within the words. Thanks again. |
