Hello,

I tried to use the module. When I try to register me, I see the error "Could not instantiate Mail Function".

I have checked it in the FAQ. The Mail From parameter is my own email address, and, in the Joomla! Mail Settings, my mailer is the PHP mail function, and the Mail From is my email address (the same address than the Mail From in module parameters). I don't understand where is the problem.

Can you help me, please ? Thank you very much in advance.

Hello.
Thanks for posting.

Well, the problem is probably that the joomla mail settings are not configured well enough to connect to the smtp server of your host.

Could you please ask them what to put in those settings?

Thanks again.

Thank you for your answer.

My website is not online yet, so I don't have any host. I use WampServer, with an Apache server (version 2.2.8), with PHP 5.2.6 and MySQL 5.0.51b.

Does my website have to be online for using the mail function ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Well, yes, unless you have set up a smtp server on your localhost.

Once you go online, it will work.

Please feel free to mail me at mavrosxristoforos@gmail.com

Thanks again.
