I am having some problems with the NS Subcriber function:
I have installed the module, set up the module parameters
all appears to be fine, I have used a dummy email address (my email address)
I am now trying to use the NS Mailer component to send a dummy message to my subscribers (of which I am the only one)
I get the message "Error Sending Messages: Error #1: No recipients recognized.. Please check NS Subscriber File, or delimiter type parameter."
I am using "images/ns/mailing_list.txt" as the file path in the module and "../images/ns/mailing_list.txt" in the component
the file path is correct, i have checked that it is in the diretory above, I have put a few test entries through the form on my site, but it sith gives me the above message
help please?

Do you administrate your files using FTP, cPanel or neither? |

I have the file stored on my joomla, similar to what I do with images used on the website, is this the correct thing to do?

Well, that's ok. NS is supposed to be for unexperienced users. Have you got access to this file? images/ns/mailing_list.txt |

Yes, and it appears to be writing to the file (it is now 25 bytes after deleting it, and adding one piece of test data)

I am unsure where the site is hosted (I am the site admin, but it was set up by someone else who is no longer with the company)
if this is fundamentally important i may be able to find out

It isn't fundamentaly important. I'm just trying to find a way to get you access the file and send it to me. Any ideas? |
