Hello. Are you using the correct version for your Joomla version?

Just for information: the form is only supposed to appear in the front-end, which means you have to save the article and see it in the front-end.

If it doesn't show up in the front-end, you have to make sure that:

1. The correct plugin is installed and enabled.
2. The article contains exactly {newsletter_subscriber} without tags, spans, or any HTML within the words.

It's a known issue. JCE and some other editors decided not to be compatible with TinyMCE javascript. While it is true that TinyMCE allows space for (not harmful) errors, it remains the default Joomla editor.

To use JCE with the latest version of NS Pro, I have added a parameter in the Component Options. So, if you use JCE, please switch "Editor Compatibility" to "No Quotes".

Never mind! Just downloaded Rapid Contact again and replaced my existing one. Looks like we are good to go. Thanks anyway.

When filling out my Rapid Contact form in the right sidebar, after you enter the security question and hit "Submit" it just sits there and "spins". Site is: http://www.ncwebpros.com. Never sends the email. Standard contact form on the site works perfectly so I know mail function is setup properly. Any suggestions?

I want to use different forms of salutation and added the required information to the subscribers - but can't find out how to get the information to the newsletter.

Tried {subscriber_extrafieldvalue} and

{include}extra_field{...

Is it possible at all?

Would be very nice if that worked...

I switched my profile to Tiny MCE and everything appears to be working.  Is there a known issue with JCE?  What is the best editor to use with NS Pro?

I've got the same problem, installed it, enabled it, put the {newsletter_subscriber} in an artical and...it just shows the words {newsletter_subscriber}  on the page

I'm using JCE Editor 2.1.2 which is causing other issues described in another thread.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't seeing that option in there but then i realized that I was running version 1.6. I downloaded 1.7 and was able to change the setting. I will try another test message shortly.

Hello. You probably mean that you want it to send itself using Ajax, which is something that Rapid Contact does not do.
